About us

The people behind Cozy Butter.

Cozy Butter was founded by two internationally recognized obesity advocates, Kim Carlos and Amanda Bonello. They are both podcast hosts and consultants, and both spend their time at industry meetings and at in-person community events. Working with other organizations, as patients and as consultants, they kept running into the same gap: what people needed most was genuine community and support, and nobody was building it. So they built it. Cozy Butter is operated by Cozy Butter LLC, the independent company they own together.

Why we built this

We built Cozy Butter because we know what it feels like to have the life changing experience of the food noise going away and having no one to share it with. So many people have had to go through it alone, the ups and downs, struggling as a slow responder and feeling totally alone, or celebrating weight loss while mourning the loss of your curves. Feeling utterly bombarded with info and not knowing what you can trust. But most of all just wanting someone to talk with that can relate and empathize.

We are on a mission to build something butter for GLP-1 patients.
